“My kids told me ‘Dad, you’re never going to finish that.’ But I did. I cleaned up the motor- it was 30 years old, got the frame, painted it… everything. All from scratch. I suppose it is a good lesson for them- if you put your head to something- you can finish it. I also think it’s my way to get out a little. Their mom isn’t around here anymore, so I’m raising all four of them on my own… six through 14.”
