“We were dry until two years ago ‘cause we’ve got so many really staunch religious people around here.  We had to drive 90 miles to Nashville for liquor.  But now that we’re wet, the bootleggers have been run all out.  They used to make moonshine up in the hills and bring it down. Most people were happy about the ban being lifted, but I don’t think they were.”
