“I used to work in a correction facility in Brooklyn. Late one night I was out and some boys who had been released from my facility came up behind me without me seeing. They apparently took great offense to my correction style. They said, ‘Cap- this is for everything you’ve done to us.’ They took a baseball bat right to my knees. That was the last of my bike riding days. You probably didn’t know I was a cripple when I first walked in here, did you?”
