“My classroom here, it’s real diverse. The kids already know how to divide themselves up for a picture, just like the media does when they come to take one. The kids are all like, ‘okay, we need one Jewish boy here, and a little African American girl here, and then a Vietnamese girl to the left…’ race down here is a pretty open slate. And we’re talking about it. Sometimes for the good and sometimes for the bad.”
