“I remember back in the day we didn’t have any GPS, GIS, GTS. I was a sheriff of these parts and I remember meeting someone way out in the county at the ‘crooked tree.’ We all knew just where that was. So many subdivisions popped up after Katrina. Most of them are so new around here, you won’t even find them on those machines.” Owner of Snowball Sons-Daughter-Grandchildren- & Great Grandchildren Service Shop whose house used to be on the coastline but was demolished by Katrina. He and his wife have sold their property and now live north of the train tracks. And according to him, will stay put there.
